How to get started

Use the internet browser on your device to go to your health insurance carrier’s website, and you will find one of the app store links. Alternatively, you can open the app store on your device and search for the application (information about the app will be provided with your plan details).

Usually you must be registered for your insurer’s claim online services and accept the online claims submission agreement before you can access your claims app. (To register you will be required to confirm a few personal details, create a username and password, and provide answers to three challenge questions.) Then all you need is your health insurance policy number and the password you use to log in.

Once you have your claims app on your device you may receive updates for new features.

Not ready to use an app yet?

If you’ve never had to file a health claim it’s natural to worry about the process being complicated. There are forms and receipts; how do you know you have everything you need?
